At 175 years of age Harriet is the world's oldest living animal. It is believed Harriet was one of three animals naturalist Charles Darwin brought back to Britain from his trip to the Galapagos Islands in 1835.
Update 23 June 2006 - Harriet died overnight in her sleep from a suspected heart attack
